Acupuncture is a gentle therapy involving the shallow insertion of extremely fine needles into your skin at strategic points on your body. During your treatment, you will find acupuncture to be a deeply relaxing experience that promotes peace and clarity. It is a therapeutic technique that balances the flow of your energy, or life force (Qi), by working with, and harmonising, the fundamental concepts of Yin and Yang, and the 5 elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood). Only the highest quality Japanese (single use) needles are used.
Traditional Japanese Acupuncture
Traditional Japanese Acupuncture is concerned with the treatment of the whole person, addressing the root imbalance that is seen as the cause of presenting physical and mental symptoms or conditions. This treatment method can be the potent catalyst that is needed for a true and lasting healing as core patterns are identified and treated, rather than just focusing on symptomatic relief. This style of acupuncture is well suited to children, and a needle free Paediatric system called Shonishin is also practised.
Esoteric Acupuncture is a specialised acupuncture protocol based on encoding patterns designed by Dr Mikio Sankey L.Ac. This form works by expanding consciousness whilst balancing the chakras and other energy centres, meridians and channels in the body. This treatment enhances the essence & connection to the finer frequencies of your higher spiritual Heart. If you practice regular meditation and yoga, or are wishing to move into higher vibrations of love and awareness, Esoteric Acupuncture is a beautiful and deeply relaxing treatment that will awaken your spirituality & intuitive skills.

The Bars are a set of 32 points on the head which include; control, creativity, joy, sadness, health, money, awareness, healing, kindness, gratitude, peace, calm, communication, etc. When touched with the finger tips on both sides of the head, it creates an invisible bar of energy. Running the Bars clears past beliefs, issues, emotions etc. from this lifetime or any other lifetime. The assimilation is akin to a spring clean of the energy system and fields.

Astrology is often one of the first esoteric disciplines that people first come across and is all around us in our daily lives. A personalised Birth Chart provides a fascinating mirror into our lives, giving us insight into the skills and challenges we came into this life with.
This ancient, powerful form of pre-celtic healing from Ireland is an energetic, telepathic process. It clears, purifies and regenerates the core cellular and soul memory where trauma, disease and programming is stored at it’s origins.
Through music, a high, sacred healing transmission, invocation; and active, living, mystic prayer; we can permanently release old, stagnant, dead energy; illness and disease; emotional trauma; depression and anxiety; ancestral and past life trauma; blockages; negative beliefs and mindsets, patterning and programming that does not serve us anymore. As we release that which is not our true self and breathe in new life our lives are changed, we are lighter, more fulfilled, we connect directly to source and we open up our own unique gifts and the limitless potential of our true expression.

A practitioner trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy can tap into a client’s subconscious mind by inducing a state similar to that which we experience when we first wake up in the morning (when we first wake, before we are fully awake). In this state there is a bridge between the conscious and unconscious minds, and the unconscious mind is able to be accessed and re-programmed. Hypnosis is well established and recognised within the Medical Profession as an effective treatment. It can help people overcome unwanted personality traits, negative or destructive behaviour patterns, habits, and addictions. The client remains fully awake, aware and in control for the entire process, and nothing can be done to re-program their unconscious mind that they are not open to. For some people, or for some conditions, more than one session may be required to re-enforce the re-programming received in the initial consultation.
Counselling is a process that focuses on enhancing your psychological well-being so that you can then reach your full potential. These sessions will suit those who are experiencing a myriad of symptoms. Anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, and addictions are just some experiences that prevent you from living a rich and fulfilled life. This work has inspired many to live their lives with joy. Counselling will reconnect you with your life purpose and promote a sense of well-being.
Crystal Therapy is recognised as a type of ‘Vibrational Medicine.’ As a practice, it utilises the well documented healing properties of crystals to clear, balance, and align the client’s energy on all levels – mind, body and spirit. Some Practitioners practice the ‘Laying on of Stones,’ in which crystals are placed on and/or around the client’s body to create a healing energy grid. Alternatively, the practitioner may choose to incorporate crystals into other healing arts, such as Reiki or Pranic Healing: in this instance the crystal is used to channel and focus the healing energy directed through it. The crystal, acting much like an energetic surgical tool, is used to ‘cut’ negative energy blockages from the body and auric field.
The Dorn Method uses a specific diagnostic protocol to determine where the joints, spine, and structures are out of alignment. It then balances these misalignments, using a combination of pressure, mobilization, and movement, to facilitate realignment in a gentle, safe and effective way. The client is then provided with a set of realignment exercises tailored to these imbalances, to practice at home, to facilitate the recovery process. The treatment usually finishes with the Breuss Massage for harmonizing and stretching the spine.

Eating psychology is made up of two core areas: Mind Body Nutrition and Dynamic Eating Psychology. Mind Body Nutrition is an exciting new approach that looks at the psycho-physiology of how digestion, assimilation, calorie burning and all the nutritive functions of the body are literally and scientifically impacted by stress, relaxation, thought, emotion, pleasure, our personal story, eating rhythm, eating speed, awareness, and so much more. WHAT we eat is half the story of good nutrition. The other half of the story is WHO we are as eaters. Mind Body Nutrition provides this all-important missing link to metabolic health. Dynamic Eating Psychology is an eating psychology for everyone. It’s a positive approach that sees all of our eating concerns as an opportunity for growth and transformation. It explores how our food challenges are here to teach us, rather than enemies to be attacked. It looks to uncover the connections between our personal world and our unwanted eating habits.

The schools of Kabbalah – the spiritual/mystical stream of Judaisim – have been passing down Esoteric Knowledge orally for over 3000 years. James continues to practise this ancient oral tradition that he learnt whilst living in Israel. Kabbalah ties to ancient Pythagorean Schools, the Eastern Gnostics, and has parallels in Eastern Philosophy. It is a system of Cosmology that shows us a path to self realisation, and can easily applied in daily living.

Kinesiology uses a process called bio-feedback, which in lay terms means “information obtained from the body-mind,” to identify the stressors that are the root cause of our issues or disease. In this case, biofeedback is obtained via gentle muscle monitoring. The practitioner moves one of the client’s limbs into a specific position to isolate a muscle, applies gentle pressure (against which the client provides resistance), and assesses the muscle response.
Sensitivities can cause a wide range of conditions, often involving the skin, respiratory, and digestive systems. These conditions can be minor, such as localized skin irritation, through to much more serious, pervasive disorders (i.e. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Depression, and Rheumatoid Arthritis often have a related food sensitivity). Kinesiology can be used to detect substances, food-based or otherwise, that elicit a stress response from the body. In many cases it can help to reduce, or alleviate entirely, that stress response.
Flower Essence Balances
Many people are now familiar with the gentle, yet powerful, effect these beautiful essences can make in our lives. In these sessions we identify the issue you wish to resolve, or the outcome you would like to achieve. Then, using biofeedback in the form of Kinesiology muscle monitoring techniques, we identify the Flower Essence(s) that are most appropriate for you, including the method, frequency, and duration of use. This removes the guesswork from selecting the best Essence(s) for you.
Although Life Coaching shares many similarities with counselling, it mainly differs in its collaborative nature, encouraging the client to ‘take action,’ rather than to internalise or contemplate. There are many different streams of Life Coaching available. Some concentrate more on skill building and achievement in specific areas of growth, whilst others may focus on achievement of your goals through better understanding of self limiting patterns and behaviours. It is important to find a life coach that suits your situation, and who can tailor an appropriate program. Our life coaches are ready to speak with you about your dreams and aspirations, and help you to manifest them into reality.

In older times, the changes in each of our lives were marked by ritual and ceremony to ensure that as the person took their new place in the world, they understood their new responsibilities and their family and tribe were witness to this. As contemporary people we have lost touch with ritual and ceremony. Life ritual work is dedicated to working with clients to craft meaningful ceremonies around the significant shifts we experience today. These can include ceremony to mark births, marriage, divorce, a change of career, moving to a new city or the commencement of a new endeavour, the loss of friendships and inevitably – death. Creating ceremony around these events can honour the gifts of the past, ease the passage of grief, create fresh space to create new futures and celebrate the new with joy.

Massage is one of the most ancient healing arts, and the importance of touch to our overall well-being is well recognised. As well as improving our general sense of well-being, massage improves circulation, relieves stress and tension, and offers relief from muscular pain and spasm. There are many different types of massage, as well as different techniques that can be employed by a skilled massage therapist.
Swedish Relaxation Massage, Relaxation Therapy & Therapeutic Massage
As a general rule, a relaxation massage employs more gentle, even strokes, and continuous sweeping motions, when compared to other styles, such as Remedial or Trigger Point Therapy. A relaxation massage should be relaxing, so traditionally the practitioner avoids ‘digging’ or ‘getting stuck into’ sore spots or tight muscles as this will often cause the client to clench or tighten up. Relaxation Massage can have dramatic results. As the mind relaxes, the body releases any stored stress or tension. Many people are surprised to find that those ‘tight’ spots have relaxed without the need for ‘digging.’ Some Relaxation Therapists employ the use of hot towels and/or essential oils to enhance the relaxing nature of the treatment.
In order to qualify, Remedial Massage Therapists must complete a recognised and registered course. Remedial Massage Therapists undergo extensive study and training in order to treat muscular conditions and injuries. They employ a variety of techniques, knowing when and where to apply these, to treat specific injuries and disorders.
Resistance & Movement
This uses the body’s own mechanisms, and massage, to release muscular tension.
Deep Tissue & Trigger Point Therapy
Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy is what most people experience as ‘digging,’ or the practitioner getting ‘stuck into’ an area. A much greater pressure is applied than with most other massage techniques, and at times the practitioner will ‘hold’ or ‘pinch’ a group of muscles to release the spasm already present. Trigger Point Therapy is often applied to areas where groups of muscles intersect or join up. Sometimes the practitioner will use other parts of their body, such as their knuckles or their elbow, to apply the pressure typical of Trigger Point Therapy.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a very gentle but effective massage technique. A common description of the technique is feeling as though you are being gently kneaded over the body. This technique was developed to improve circulation throughout the lymphatic system. Lymphatic Drainage can help boost the immune system. It may also help with the elimination of toxins, and processing of excess fluid.
The Myofascial Layer is the outermost layer of the muscle, and it almost encapsulates the rest of the muscle like a glove. Myofascial Release focuses on releasing muscular tightness and contractions.
Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi or Kahuna massage
Lomi-Lomi, sometimes referred to as Kahuna, is a traditional Hawaiian Healing Massage that also works on an energetic level. Traditionally Lomi-Lomi massages are performed with the patient naked, and a modesty cloth (usually a sarong) covering the groin area at all times. Unlike western styles of massage, the practitioner will often choose to massage the tissue surrounding the breast (but not the nipple), and the underarm. This improves circulation and stimulates the many glands found in that area of the body. Very long, sweeping, under-body strokes are used to great effect. It is akin to relaxation massage, rather than remedial massage. The gentle, continuous strokes are applied to create a flowing motion that can almost give the illusion of gentle waves moving over the entire body. The random nature of the strokes helps to switch the rational mind off, and allows for deep relaxation. Massage oil is applied in liberal amounts to assist with the flow of the strokes. It is believed that the practitioner and client become one during a Lomi-Lomi massage/healing, and so individual experiences of a Lomi-Lomi can differ greatly depending on the practitioner.
Shiatsu- Japanese Healing Massage
Shiatsu Massage can be applied when wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Shiatsu is a form of bodywork, involving a traditional futon mat on the floor, as opposed to the traditional massage table. Shiatsu practitioners employ techniques such as assisted stretching, joint manipulation, and finger/elbow/forearm/foot/knee pressure, using the practitioner’s natural body weight. Shiatsu practitioners examine pulses, tongue, face, stomach, and spinal columns, in order to determine excess or deficient Ki (energy). Based on this information they will focus on where the body needs an energetic balancing.
Myotherapy is a primary healthcare profession that specializes in treating muscular pain, injuries, and nerve restrictions. A Myotherapist finds the root cause of muscular pain, and is able to ascertain exactly which muscles are responsible. From there the practitioner manipulates and ‘releases’ the muscle, using both massage and needles (dry needling), to bring about fast and effective results.
Reflexology employs the use of gentle pressure techniques to influence the body’s own self-healing power to correct imbalances. Reflex points can be found in different parts of the body, with practitioners mainly working on the ears, feet, and hands.
Meditation is a spiritual practice that teaches the art of ‘stilling the mind.’ It offers welcome relief from never-ending thoughts and mind chatter. There are different types of meditation, and as a spiritual practice, it is incorporated into various ancient and modern day philosophies. Meditation and mindfulness have been proven to be universally beneficial, with the many health benefits now well recognised. These include a reduction of tension and stress, lowered heart rate, lowered blood pressure, less anxiety, and a more present mind.
“Participating in an 8-week mindfulness meditation program appears to make measurable changes in brain regions associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and stress.” – Science Daily 21/1/2011
Naturopathy is based on the philosophy that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself, given the right therapeutic environment. Naturopathy views symptoms of a disease as warning signs of improper functioning of the body. Naturopaths attempt to reverse the cause of the symptoms of disease through the implementation of lifestyle changes, by correcting nutritional deficiencies, and by optimising metabolic function. Naturopaths aim to provide individualised, specialist care. They aim to empower each person to take control of their health, increasing their general sense of well-being and vitality.

Our body has hardware and software. The hardware is the tissue, bone, and physical matter. The software is the informational patterns that control our functions. Both are required. Two people are talking on mobile phones. ‘Energy’ is what carries the call from one phone to the other. Our voice is the ‘information’ on that signal. The human body field works much the same. By correcting energy blockages AND the information structures of the energy itself, we re-train the body to get back to its innate, intended nature, triggering our body’s powerful built-in healing abilities.

Reiki means ‘Soul Energy,’ or ‘Spirit Energy,’ or ‘Universal Life Energy.’ Reiki, which originated in Japan, was taught by Mikao Usui to his Buddhist students. Usui described the practice of Reiki as a kind of psychic healing method, and also physical therapy.
When offering Reiki, the whole body of the practitioner emanates light and energy. The practitioner channels this energy of Universal Love and/or Light. This energy can also be used to promote healing, and is beneficial for a wide range of ailments. Reiki is highly suited to being used as a complementary therapy as it does not interfere with existing medical treatment. It is administered by ‘laying on hands or off.’ There is no manipulation or physical pressure. Reiki is simple and soothing.
The recipient remains fully clothed for the duration of the session. The practitioner will gently place their hands on or over the recipient’s body, usually working over the Chakras or energy centres in the body. Most people report feeling a comforting warmth radiating from the practitioners hands.

EFT is used to take the emotional intensity out of a past memory. Consequently, one is able to recall traumatic and stressful life memories, without any emotional disruption or stressful attachments. EFT involves tapping yourself on specific acupressure points, and using affirmative language aloud. It works on the principle that any trauma experienced throughout your life, physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, leaves a blockage somewhere in your energy pathways, or your electro-magnetic field.

The Tarot is an ancient oracle card system. It has a recorded history of more than 2 000 years, traced through the Hebrew culture. The Jews are said to have carried it out of Egypt. It is a complex system of 78 cards, with encoded symbolism used to obtain guidance. Many modern Tarot decks also have additional overlaid meanings. Most readers employ their own intuition/psychic abilities to best interpret the cards for the client.
TCM is an ancient form of healing that is thousands of years old. It uses acupuncture, massage, cupping, and herbal formulas to treat a wide range of conditions. It can increase your energy levels, improve resistance to colds and flu, and restore a feeling of good health and well-being.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the Daoist theory that we live in a universe in which Mind, Body, and Spirit are inextricably interconnected and interdependent. As such, this style of medicine understands various levels of wellness in direct correlation to our consciousness. Therapeutic techniques, such as acupuncture and moxibustion; massage techniques, such as tuina, shiatsu, cupping, and guasha; herbal medicine; diet and lifestyle; meditation; and exercise, may help you to regain your sense of wellness, provide mental clarity, and help you to feel vibrant and energised. Diagnosis is attained via thorough history taking, examination of the pulses and tongue, and gentle palpation of the hara (abdomen), specific reflex zones on the body, and meridian channels.

Created by Vianna Stibal, Theta Healing works directly with Source Energy to heal on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. The practitioner simply asks the Source to download to the client whatever it is that’s needed to bring about healing. It can work for anyone, at times with miraculous results, as long as they have a sense of something greater than themselves. Usually Theta Healing is conducted in a seated position, opposite the practitioner, with no physical contact. You remain fully clothed, and may experience rapid energy shifts. It can take a number of days to weeks for the healing to become fully integrated. Some practitioners incorporate muscle-testing to check if the healing is complete, or will hold. At times, where required, they may engage the client in a series of questions called ‘digging.’
