Flexxd is the combination of more than 20 years of working with movement. It’s the best of yoga. It’s stretching with resistance and gaining flexibility safely while building strength on a level I have never seen before. It’s mindfulness in action. It’s breathing with awareness. It’s simple. It’s accessible to average bodies. It’s therapeutic, and it’s also a powerful workout.
Flexxd differs from standard yoga by using self-resistance to create a simple but potentially intense workout. Clients on the yoga mat are typically looking for improved fitness as well as the mindful qualities of yoga. This practice uses the body pushing against itself to create a high degree of self-regulation.
Flexxd works through all 16-muscle groups, which have shown to correspond to TCM meridians that have physical, mental and emotional balancing effects. Animals naturally resist while stretching.

Flexxdfit can be suitable for anybody who has the ability to get up and down from the floor and has permission from their health care provider to exercise. People with pain management issues are required to do a 30 minute one on one session with Fiona for assessment and integration into the group class if suitable.
