The truth behind “Being You”

Before I dive in, let me introduce myself properly to the Qi Community. Some of you may remember me from Tarot Days – pre-pandemic when I used to teach Tarot in the Garden Room…feels like a long time ago now.

I have been a customer at Qi since 2007, which is also when I started my spiritual journey. Being a qualified accountant, spirituality was what kept me grounded and centred but it also kept ’safe’ in the “spiritual closet”! Particularly, as I tried to reconcile the logical, practical, evidence-based self with the intuitive, empathic and highly sensitive person that I was “becoming” or probably becoming ‘aware’ off.

As it happens, after many curve balls from the universe, I finally left the spiritual closet for good in 2017 and have been doing Tarot Readings, Healings, Teachings locally and globally by embodying the true essence and meaning of “Being You” which is also what my business is called. It was when I not only realised but accepted that I was both a qualified accountant and someone who loved Tarot, Crystals, Healing and all things spiritual…they were all extensions of who I am and get to BE.

As my spiritual journey progressed, so did the tools in my toolbox. I now offer Tarot, Palmistry, Tea Readings and Reiki and Chakra Balancing. It was my own healing journey that led me to these modalities which have resulted in me learning, practicing and sharing these with the world. You see, I grew up with Palmistry and was exposed to it from a very young age but you know how it is, the very thing you know is the very thing you resist. Long story short, by doing Palmistry it has been a life changing experience for both me and my clients.

If you follow me on social media, you would have seen me doing Coffee Cup Readings, which I love and adore, so it really comes as no surprise that I offer Tea Readings. Tea Readings hold a special place in my heart from those that a new to Readings to those who have been having Readings for many years because the common feedback I get is “This was amazing”, “Feels like I’m talking to a long lost friend”, “I can’t wait to book the next one”.

And Tarot? Well it was Tarot and Reiki that opened my mind and heart to the world of spirituality (soul) and a door that was once ajar has now cracked wide open. I had my first Tarot deck next to my amethyst crystal and I drew cards every single day and sometimes multiple times a day. Tarot healed me. It saved me…And for that I will be forever grateful.

Being a Practitioner at Qi, is a full circle moment for me. This is where I first started my spiritual journey and now to be able to offer support, guidance and clarity to the Qi Community is a dream come true. I am at Qi every Tuesday from 10am – 6pm and would love to connect, do a Reading, and Healing for you.
