The Portal to Expansive Awareness

by Lida van den Berg

Meditation practice will in time create the portal to expansive awareness. The space between opposites will become apparent when losing focus or attachment to opposing ideas, thoughts and belief systems. Contemplate the space that exists between the mental and the physical. This space holds the state of stillness and expansiveness. Witnessing the space that exists between opposites will provide you with a deeper sense of knowingness without needing to know what that is or means.

Looking to geometry can assist your mind in the process of inviting a deeper connection with space.

ACTIVITY

Choose a clear quartz tetrahedron also described as an octahedron or a ployhedron or a merkabah. In essence, this crystal will have been carved to demonstrate two interlocking triangles. Dedicate frequent opportunities to explore this formation allowing the intellect to be the observer rather than the descriptor. This activity will in time stretch the confines of the mind allowing your consciousness to explore further and further still. After each session, let go of the visual interaction and meditate for a time. A short time or a long time – it matters not. Be prepared to continue the journey of exploring this formation for many months and if called for many years. The process is a continuum where the formula is unique based on your frequency.

The merkabah is known to the Zulus, ancient Egyptians and the Jewish culture. Ancients describe the merkabah as a vehicle to ascend into the light or higher dimensions.
